Bio:

Michael zur Muehlen is a Professor of Business Process Management and Decision Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. He researches how AI and automation impact the future of work and how organizations can improve their processes and decisions. He has consulted for global businesses and government agencies, including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the U.S. Department of Defense. He was the Associate Dean of the Graduate Business School at Stevens from 2013 to 2020, where he launched new programs and international collaborations. He has contributed to workflow industry standards and led the working group for process audit data standards. Michael holds a PhD and MS in Information Systems from the University of Muenster, Germany.
