Summary:
There is no doubt that communication is the biggest challenge for any business. Perhaps the biggest challenge of life in society. Being able to clearly explain what is intended and understand undoubtedly what is said by others depends on establishing a common language, with terms and meanings shared by consensus.
In this session, attendees will create a concept model and define the terms to be used in all communication of a new business development project. This new business is based on a mobile app for scheduling services in different organizations (cinemas, restaurants, labs, government, or any other). Other artifacts such as the Business Model Canvas, Value Flow, and Business Rules will be offered and must be adjusted to align with the defined vocabulary.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Make the analyst capable of gathering knowledge and obtaining consensus among stakeholders from different areas on the main terms related to the business.
- Conduct the definition of corporate vocabulary in a collaborative way with stakeholders.
- Develop skills to define the business vocabulary that will be used in all documents related to business requirements and rules.
The Immersive Sessions are spread across three session slots and as interactive group exercises it is compulsory to attend all three session slots, in order to complete the exercise and be fair to your fellow participants. No dipping in and out!
