Manager of Member Engagement
Colleen Meesey, MBA, CBAP® is currently the Manager of Member Engagement at IIBA, where she joined as a Product Manager in June 2017. Prior to the IIBA she served as a Business Solutions Analyst at Walmart in Bentonville, Arkansas. In recent years she has supported business analysis practices in the Retail Services, Customer Experience and Marketing areas, while also providing strategic services for the Business Analysis Shared Services organization in training and the Global Community of Practice.
Colleen began her technology business analysis career in 1998 as a transition from supervisory management to information technology. Her responsibilities have included consulting, facilitating training, production support, internal audit, and on-site implementations in addition to traditional business analysis. She has experience in the areas of transportation, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, retail, and the practice of business analysis.
Colleen’s main passion is helping others succeed, whether it’s in their daily work or in their broader careers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and an MBA from Capella University. She achieved the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) designation from the International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA®) in 2012.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Colleen enjoys rock concerts, collecting Barbie® dolls, and reading true crime books.
