Bio:

Alexander is a Lead Business Analyst and Business Consultant with over 22 years of experience in IT and about 20 years in business analysis. He co-founded and served as President of a country Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA Russia) until the end of 2021. From 2022 to 2023, Alexander held the position of Regional Director for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA EMEA Region), covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Throughout his career, Alexander has worked as a lead-level Business Analyst on dozens of challenging IT projects for corporations worldwide. He has also played a significant role as the Project Manager and principal developer of the country’s Professional Standard “Business Analyst.” Additionally, he led the translation project of the IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide) into the national language, serving as the lead translator and editor. He is also the author and instructor of the first IIBA Endorsed Educational Program (EEP) certified course in his country of origin.
