Summary:
How cool would it be if everyone came with an instruction manual? You’d just have to press the right buttons (or say the right words) and there would be no misunderstandings or conflicts.
However, everyone is different so we must figure out how to work with each other.
Fabricio & Scott will provide a model for different ways that people think, and you’ll use that model to characterize your thinking style. Then you’ll compare your style with others and we’ll aggregate the results for the group. Our goal is to leverage similarities and differences so we can collaborate more effectively.
Next we’ll flip script from working with others to how others work with you. We’ll explore ways to think about yourself from the outside so you can guide people toward easier communication. We’ll even help you write a “user guide” for yourself, so your colleagues—and your friends & family—know what makes you tick.
Plan to think, talk with others, laugh a lot, and walk away with new insights.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn about thinking styles and how to work with people who think differently
- Create a personal user guide to help others deal with you more effectively
- Enhance collaboration by leveraging knowledge about ourselves and our brains
