Speakers:
Thinking Differently
Date:
Monday, June 9, 2025
Time:
1:30 pm
Summary:
One of the biggest challenges with driving change or solving problems is not understanding your user; and how change will affect them. Am I asking the correct questions? Do my stakeholders know or understand what it is they want? Do I even have the right stakeholder? These, and many more questions can complicate our thought process as we aim to collect the best data possible. The last thing we want is a disappointing outcome. Through the use of Lean and Design Thinking principles, we will immerse ourselves into an exciting and highly interactive on-your-feet-experience demonstrating the key elements to understanding our users. We will identify their processes, preferences and needs through the techniques of User Personas, Empathy Maps, Current State Mapping and User Needs & Enablements. At the end of the session, not only will you have made new friends, but you will be empowered with the skills to drive effective change within your projects and further advance how thinking differently can lead to better results!
