Bio:

Phil is an independent consultant having recently retired from Mars Incorporated where he spent 27 years leading IT organization for the Canadian business. He has a passion for Business Process Management (BPM) and its ability to enable effective business operation and more importantly business transformation. In the past decade he successfully led the Canadian organization through multiple transformations ranging from ERP, Supply Chain Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions and multiple other business change initiatives.

Before retiring from Mars in early 2020 he had been leading the businesses through the digital transformation by taking a Process, People, Data & Systems perspective to effectively drive value. Phil has presented several papers at conferences on process management and transformation, has appeared on industry panels and was co-author of the book ‘Questioning BPM?’. He offers a practical perspective on the application of IT and looks to share his learnings and understanding with others.
