Bio:

Nadia is an Innovation Designer who enjoys understanding the system of government and its impacts on people and other systems in order to identify and experiment with scalable, sustainable ways to make government better at serving and protecting individuals, society, and the environment. She has spent the last decade working in the all of government space focusing on open and transparent government, open data, participatory democracy, and legislation/rules as code – leading the Better Rules Discovery in 2018. She is currently working as an Innovation Lead at Wellington City Council, and prior to this led the Government’s Service Innovation Lab which focussed on cross agency collaboration and experimentation to improve government service design and delivery.
