Bio:

David Lutz is currently Director of Personal Lines Program Management at the Farmers Insurance Group. He is responsible for managing rate implementation processes, quality control, corrective action, and filing functions, in addition to other responsibilities.

With a passion for innovation, he is focused on taking a diverse set of experiences and applying them to solve challenges in novel ways, and then effectively communicating a plan to others and activating them to implement. Within his current role David has revitalized the filing team, introduced process operationalization, and developed current quality control methodologies. He’s lead strategic work streams on process improvement and reorganization, and also initiated cross departmental recruiting programs. Previously he’s worked as a Product Manager at Farmers, and as VP of Product for a smaller medical device company. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California.

A Father of three, David loves spending time with his family. Otherwise he can be found on his mountain bike, with a glass of wine, or smoking a brisket. He has lived in Japan, Austria, various parts of the US and traveled extensively. He loves talent development and looks forward to supporting the next generation of innovators.
