Many Analysts want to become a Business Architect for some very good reasons. The title is impressive and appealing. The needs are real. The benefits are tangible. However, the understanding of what it is can vary quite a bit depending on intended usage. Figuring out the best way to approach Business Architecture starts with a clear understanding of what problems are you trying to solve and who cares. Once you know the answers to these questions, some form of business architecture can become a powerful means to realizing the outcomes you are striving to accomplish.
