Tim is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the field of business analysis, currently serving as the CEO of Business Analysis (BAPL) www.business-analysis.com.au, the largest specialist business analysis consultancy in the Southern Hemisphere. BAPL is renowned for offering tailored business analysis services to ASX listed companies, private enterprises, government entities, and not-for-profit organizations. Tim leads BAPL with a commitment to delivering outcome-based services while remaining software and discipline agnostic.

Tim’s expertise spans various methodologies, including waterfall, Agile, and product ownership. His practical experience extends from strategic analysis to successful project delivery. He holds a Bachelor of Education and is a Workplace Category IV Trainer and Assessor Certificate holder. Tim is also a distinguished Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), showcasing his dedication to the highest standards in the field.

As an acknowledged expert in business analysis, Tim has made substantial contributions globally. He has presented at prestigious events such as the BA World Symposiums from 2008 to 2011, Building Business Capability in 2013, 2014, and 2023, PMI EMEA Global Congress 2015, PMI Virtual Conference 2016, and the IIBA Australia Chapter BA Professional Day from 2013 to 2022. His international involvement includes working in 18 countries worldwide.

Tim’s commitment to advancing the field is evident in his leadership roles. He has served as the President of the IIBA Australia Chapter and has actively participated in International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA®) forums. Tim is not only an author of the IIBA® Competency Model but also an expert reviewer of the IIBA & Agile Alliance Agile Extension and the IIBA Product Ownership guide.

Outside the professional realm, Tim is a family man, happily married with three children. He balances his busy schedule with a passion for cycling and a love for good wine, often indulging in both pursuits in that particular order.
